Ambrose’s life has been dedicated to the refinement of his craft and execution of detail since the early age of 12 when he started sketching clothes. Driven to develop and refine his skills, Norman moved to New York at 22. Finding the guidance of two skilled masters; one a pattern cutter whom had worked under Cristobal Balenciaga, the other a tailor from Bill Blass, Ambrose engineered the foundation to the house he has built since creating his label at 25. 

 Based and manufactured in New York, the collection most notably known for its couture embellishments and superior construction, is sold through the counties top luxury retailers. Each Norman original is made to order with the option of made-to-measure. Uniquely, Ambrose creates his own first patterns, emphasizing fit and to provide a true custom service to each client. From the collections inception, Ambrose has garnered the attention of remarkable women who have come to call his clothes their own.

 Norman studied abroad at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Italy and is a graduate of the Academy of Art University of San Francisco. Ambrose was awarded the 2008 Gold Coast Fashion Award, and is recipient of the 2013 Rising Star Award for Women's Ready-to-Wear by the Fashion Group International.
